BARRY PURVES’ latest book BASICS ANIMATION – STOP MOTION is now available in bookshops, Amazon and through the author. The book is aimed as an introduction to stop motion, and what particular qualities the technique can bring to a film. The book looks at the many different uses of stop motion and of puppets in general. It is packed with illustrations from the classic films to new student work. 'TA DHA GHABHAIRIN BHUI AGAM'
Loose Moose's CAROLINE ATTIA was commissioned to animate a reworked version of old Irish song, ‘TA DHA GHABHAIRIN BHUI AGAM’, for Anam AnAmhrain, through Cartoon Saloon. It was one in a 5 part series aired over Christmas week on Irish station TG4, with plans to release the series on DVD in 2010.
