Ken Lidster is a Canadian living and working in London. He graduated from both the Emily Carr College of Art in Vancouver and The National Film and Television School, Beaconsfield, England.

For many years he was a freelance animator and animation director for film and animation production companies like Aardman Animations and Gerry Anderson Productions before forming Loose Moose Ltd with Glenn Holberton in 1994.

Since then Ken has directed and animated more than fifty commercials and numerous short films. Some of the more notable campaigns Ken has directed are for Peperami, Energizer Batteries, Lipton Brisk Iced Tea, Kraft Lunchables, Monster Munch, Chips Ahoy Cookies, Quaker Oats (featuring Windy Miller), and Kellogg's AppleJacks.
